How does our “Softub Annual Motor Service & Health Check” work? We would normally recommend you start to have your Softub Hydromate unit serviced after your warranty has finished or no older than 3 years old. The unit may be running fine, but a small leak on the impeller may not be noticed until it becomes a bigger problem!
Softub Hydromate Annual Service & Health Check
To ensure your Softub remains in optimal condition and extends its lifespan, we recommend annual servicing of your Softub Hydromate motor unit. See the details below of what we do and the costs.
When you buy our Softub servicing package, we'll send you a box for your Softub motor unit. When you have drained your Softub, disconnect the Hydromate, and place it in the provided box. Making sure all the water is out!! Notify us when it is ready for collection and we will agree a day for the courier to collect it.

- Our Softub engineer will conduct a thorough inspection of your hydromate, checking for any signs of wear/ melting on wiring.
- Check the impeller for any signs of cracking. Wet test and check for any leaks.
- Replace the impeller seals and wet end o ring. - (These seals deterioarte over time)
- Replace the capacitor.
- Check the condition of the Noise Reduction Foam and advise. (This sometimes disintegrates over time)
- We will also clean the motor fabric and apply a special protector.
- After the service, we'll contact you to arrange the return of your Hydromate or discuss any necessary repairs identified during the inspection before its return.
